With November coming to an end faster than ever, the Desert Hoops family looks back with appreciation for what 202o has taught us. Although our seasons did not go as planned and each member in our organization had to go back to the drawing board to re-evaluate life's priorities- a sense of gratitude still resounds throughout..
This year has been one of reflection for what we all knew as "normal". It is clear for the majority that we are quite ready to feel safe interacting with our peers, gathering with our families, and creating new bonds through socialization- all things we simply took for granted before Covid-19 came about. Health guidelines and protocols that would have once sounded extreme or obsessive are now expected and the new norm.
But the impact that many families have faced during this difficult time has been trying. Losing loved ones, financial stability, and learning a new way of life has taken a toll on so many people throughout the Nation and world. The Desert Hoops family has been lucky enough to be able to make an impact in the community and is grateful to be in a position to spread love, light, positivity. To be in a position to motivate, encourage, and provide hope to others is something we take deep pride in.
As we close the month with the Thanksgiving Holiday upon us, we reflect on the different opportunities we were able to participate in and look forward with anticipation to get back out there once again. If you have a cause that you would like to share with us, please do not hesitate to contact our front office!
